Dr. B. C. Roy
Health Analytics Fellowship

About the Fellowship

Healthcare is not just a service—it is a cornerstone of human dignity and national development. In an age where data can drive better decisions and save lives, there is an urgent need for professionals who can bridge the gap between medical systems and data-driven governance. Named after Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, one of India’s most eminent physicians and visionaries in public health, this fellowship reflects his enduring legacy of compassion, ethics, and excellence in healthcare delivery.

The Dr. B. C. Roy Health Analytics Fellowship is designed for individuals passionate about public health, healthcare innovation, and health governance. It combines rigorous field engagement with modern tools in data science, epidemiology, digital health, and health systems research, with the goal of transforming the way healthcare policies are designed, implemented, and measured.

Fellows will work across key verticals such as community health, public health analytics, medical ethics, hospital administration, digital health technologies, and quality standards in healthcare delivery. The fellowship creates opportunities to engage with government health departments, medical institutions, health-tech startups, and public policy think tanks to create real-time, data-backed impact in the healthcare ecosystem.

At Kshetra, we believe that data is not just about numbers—it’s about lives. Fellows will use analytics to improve disease surveillance, support the implementation of health programs, evaluate hospital efficiency, and ensure ethical, inclusive and evidence-based healthcare governance. From tracking immunization gaps in remote villages to evaluating national health missions at the state level, the fellowship is structured to deliver insights where they matter most.

This program is ideal for professionals from medicine, public health, data science, or social policy who are eager to work at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and governance. With India rapidly scaling its digital health infrastructure and public health initiatives, this is a critical moment to shape systems that serve the people better, faster, and more fairly.

If you're driven by a vision of equitable, accountable, and data-informed healthcare for all, the Dr. B. C. Roy Health Analytics Fellowship offers you the platform to turn vision into impact.
